    Hickory Glen Park
    Hickory Glen Park has seven ball diamonds, a football field with bleachers, which are maintained by the Lakes Athletic Association and the township. The mountain biking/hiking trail loop is 5.7 miles long. The park entrance is located on Glengary Road about a quarter-mile west of South Commerce Road. I am linking to the Motor City Mountain Biking Page for the park. They were involved in building most of the trails. Watch out for and yield to bikes on the trail. The 46 acre Wixom Gilbert Willis Park is also across the Glengary Road from it with its own trails and other outdoor recreational facilities. If you like outdoor activities like biking or hiking one nearby community that you might want to consider is the Hills of Loon Lake in Commerce Township which is directly across Glengary Road from Hickory Glen Park and borders the Wixom Gilbert Park. I will try to do an Insight on that community in the near future.
